PnL Monthly: The Monthly Trading Competition
PnL Monthly is PnL World's month-long trading competition: one bankroll, live Binance prices, 10× max leverage, 1,000 PWR for the winner. Dates and rules.
PnL Monthly is the monthly flagship tournament on PnL World: one calendar month, one bankroll, one ranked field. It is the first of the three flagship events — PnL Monthly, PnL Quarterly and the PnL World Championship — and the one that turns a good month of trading into a real step up the world ranking.

Why a month
Short tournaments test speed. A month tests a trader: whether a plan survives different market conditions, how funding and fees add up on held positions, and whether risk stays under control for four weeks. That is why the leverage cap is 10× rather than the 20× of short formats, and why the format carries 1,000 PWR for the winner — forty times an Hourly win.
How the winner is decided
- Result = (result equity − starting bankroll) ÷ starting bankroll, after fees and funding, with open positions counted as if closed now at the mark price, including the exit fee.
- Place = final result. Ties go to the smaller max drawdown, then the earlier entry.
- A trader whom a liquidation leaves at 10% or less of the starting bankroll is marked Liquidated and ranks last.

PWR points
Every finishing place earns points: 1,000 × place share × field strength. At field strength 1.0:
| Place | PWR |
|---|---|
| 1st | 1,000 |
| 2nd | 650 |
| 3rd | 450 |
| 4th | 350 |
| 5th | 280 |
| 10th | 110 |
| 11th–15th | 80 |
| 16th–20th | 50 |
| 21st and below | 30 |
A 1st or 2nd place alone is past the Gold threshold (500 PWR). Full table: PWR points table.
Prizes
The prize pool is formed from entry fees after the platform fee. Prize places and amounts depend on the field size and are shown on the tournament page before you join. During open testing, entries and prizes use test credits; no real money is involved.
How to trade a month-long tournament
- Join early. Entry stays open all month, but every day you miss is a day you can't trade.
- Size for survival. At 10×, a ~10% adverse move against a fully levered position can liquidate it. Keep effective leverage well below the cap.
- Watch funding. Positions held through funding times pay or receive it — over a month, it adds up. See perpetual futures explained.
- Protect the lead. A strong first half is worth defending; drawdown is the tie-break.
- Plan the last day. Open positions count at the end, with the exit fee.
The road to the PnL World Championship
PnL Monthly runs every month, PnL Quarterly every quarter, and the PnL World Championship once a year — the first edition from 1 January to 31 December 2027. Points from all of them add up in one rating, the PnL World Rating (PWR).
